Strawberry Poison Dart Dragon-Fly

This dragonfly dragon is sculpted from polymer clay over a wire & aluminum foil armature and painted with acrylics. The wings are built from layered rag paper and wire. The sculpt is sealed with multiple coats of polyurethane varnish for durability, shine, and water resistance.

Strawberry Poison Dart Dragon-Fly is part dragon, part dragonfly, and part strawberry poison dart frog. This is an OOAK work - no molds were used. It measures approximately 10cm (4") tall from feet to top of antennae, and 11.5cm (5”) from nose to tip of tail.

Fruit-Bat-Phoenix creations are always created in a smoke and pet free environment.
